The Trust Can Now Confirm The Hire Of BR Class 73 No 73136 Will Finish On The 8th April 2009. The Railway Are Seeking A Replacement For The 73 With A Steam Engine.

CLTR SPRING GALA 4TH-5TH APRIL 2009. The Gala is Beig Held On the 21st Birthday Of The Trust Being Formed. And Also Falls On The Birthday Of One Of The Trustees Birthday. On The 12th November The Goodswear Road Preservation Society And The The Chatham Railway Trust Will Merge In To The The Cranleigh Line Trust. The To Trust Are Still In Talks Over The Locomotive Ownerships Of The Jinty And The Industrial Locomotive Nellie. More News To Follow In The Coming Days.

The Chatham Railway Trust Have Joined The Goodswear Road Preservation Society Trust. They Will Be Taking Charge Of The Locomotive Works And Carriage And Wagon Works. They Will Also Help To Build The Extension Towards Lillybridge Junction. We Also Welcome David Fosberry To The Railway As A Trustee. He Also The Chairman Of The West Dorset Railway. David Has Joined Us To Give Us A Hand At The Railways Day To Day Running.
